Solar Water Heating Systems

Enjoy Hot Water 24/7 without Electricity Bills

Eco-Friendly Comfort

Why Switch to Solar Water Heaters?

Heating water contributes to a massive 30% to 40% of an average household's electricity bill. By switching to a Solar Water Heating System (SWH), you eliminate this cost entirely.

Nature Power Solar offers high-efficiency ETC (Evacuated Tube Collector) and FPC (Flat Plate Collector) systems designed specifically for Telangana's weather conditions. Whether it's a chilly winter morning or a rainy day, our PUF-insulated tanks ensure water stays hot for up to 48 hours.

ROI Fact: A 200-liter solar heater saves approximately 1,500 units of electricity per year. The system pays for itself in just 2-3 years!

How It Works (Thermosiphon)

Our systems work on the simple principle of the "Thermosiphon Effect," requiring no pumps for standard residential models.

  • 1

Absorption: The Solar Collectors (Glass Tubes or Metal Plates) absorb sunlight and convert it into heat energy.

  • 2

Transfer: This heat is transferred to the water flowing inside the tubes or copper pipes.

  • 3

Circulation: Hot water becomes lighter and naturally rises into the insulated storage tank at the top, while cold water flows down to be heated.

Technology

ETC vs FPC Systems

Choose the right technology based on your water quality and usage requirements.

1. ETC (Evacuated Tube Collector)

Uses triple-layer glass tubes with a vacuum in between to trap heat efficiently, acting like a thermos flask.

  • Efficiency: High heat retention even in cloudy weather or winters.
  • Water Quality: Works reasonably well with hard water (scaling is easier to clean inside tubes).
  • Cost: More affordable and lightweight structure.
  • Best For: Residential homes, hostels, and non-pressurized applications.

2. FPC (Flat Plate Collector)

Uses a flat metal box with copper/aluminum absorbers and toughened glass on top.

  • Durability: Very rugged metal construction, long life (15-20 years).
  • Pressure: Can handle high pressure (suitable for pressure booster pumps).
  • Water Quality: Requires soft water or a heat exchanger (indirect heating) to prevent clogging copper pipes.
  • Best For: Hotels, Hospitals, Industries, and homes with pressure pumps.
