Solar Water Pumps

Revolutionizing Agriculture: Zero Fuel Cost, Unlimited Water.

The Future of Farming

Why Indian Farmers are Switching to Solar?

For decades, farmers in Telangana have relied on erratic grid electricity (often available only at night) or expensive diesel generators to water their crops. This uncertainty affects yield and profits.

Solar Water Pumping Systems solve this permanently. By harnessing the abundant sunlight in our region, these pumps operate at full capacity during the day—exactly when crops need water the most. It is a one-time investment that delivers free irrigation for 25 years.

How It Works

  • 1. Solar Arrays: PV Panels convert sunlight into DC electricity.
  • 2. VFD Controller: The "Brain" of the system. It regulates the voltage and frequency to ensure the pump runs smoothly even during cloudy intervals.
  • 3. Pump Unit: The motor lifts water from the borewell or river and delivers it to the field.

Types of Solar Pumps

We offer both AC and DC pumps tailored to your water source.

1. Submersible Pumps

Specifically designed for deep groundwater extraction. The entire pump and motor assembly is submerged underwater in the borewell.

Key Features:
  • Best For: Borewells with depth > 20 feet.
  • Efficiency: Higher efficiency as it pushes water up rather than sucking it.
  • Maintenance: Zero maintenance (Sealed unit).
  • Suitability: Ideal for deep water tables common in Telangana.

2. Surface Pumps

Installed on dry land near the water source. These pumps use suction pipes to draw water from surface-level bodies.

Key Features:
  • Best For: Open wells, Ponds, Canals, and Rivers (Depth < 20 feet).
  • Flow Rate: High water discharge capability.
  • Access: Easy to access for cleaning and repairs.
  • Cost: Generally cheaper than submersible pumps.

Government Support

PM KUSUM Yojana

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) is a revolutionary scheme to ensure energy security for farmers. Under Component B, individual farmers can install standalone solar agriculture pumps with massive subsidies.

Subsidy Breakdown:

  • 30% - Central Government Subsidy
  • 30% - State Government Subsidy
  • 40% - Farmer's Share (Bank Loan available for 30%)

* Note: Subsidy percentages vary by state and category (SC/ST).
