One night of wild boar can wipe out a season
Across Telangana, wild boar (adavi pandi), monkeys and nilgai damage maize, groundnut, paddy and vegetables. Barbed wire alone does not stop them. A solar fence teaches animals to stay away after one touch.
- Energiser output of 8–10 kV in short, safe pulses
- Siren alarm if the wire is cut or shorted
- Automatic day and night modes
- High-carbon galvanised wire and UV-proof insulators
We have laid more than 200 km of solar fencing across Telangana farms, farmhouses and nurseries.
Solar charging
A 40–150 W panel charges a 12 V battery through the day.
The energiser
Turns battery power into high-voltage pulses on the fence line.
Shock and alarm
A touch delivers a sharp pulse; a cut wire sets off the siren.
Fencing designed for what you are protecting
Different animals and properties need different line counts and heights.
Paddy, maize, groundnut and vegetable fields
Wild boar push under fences and deer jump over them. A 6-line fence with the lowest wire close to the ground and the top wire at about 6 ft stops both.
- Bottom wire at 6–8 inches stops boar
- Top wire at 6 ft deters deer
- Gate handles with insulated springs
- Siren if the line is cut
Mango, guava orchards and farmhouses
Monkeys climb, so orchards need more lines and an outrigger at the top. Farmhouses add an alarm for human intrusion.
- 8 lines with top outrigger for climbers
- Alarm and hooter for intruders
- Day/night modes to save battery
- Optional mobile alerts
Factories, warehouses and solar parks
Mounted on existing compound walls as a top-of-wall fence, it adds a visible, legal deterrent with alarm zones.
- Wall-top brackets, no new poles
- Multiple alarm zones
- Warning signboards every 10 m
- Links to security cabin hooter
Paddocks for cattle, goats and sheep
Fewer lines at the right heights keep livestock inside grazing areas and predators out, without barbed wire injuries.
- 2–4 lines at animal shoulder height
- Movable poles for rotational grazing
- Low-maintenance energiser
- Safe, pulsed shock

Energiser kit includes solar panel, battery, energiser, alarm and earthing. Price range covers wire, poles, insulators, accessories and installation.
Indicative 2026 prices. Uneven land, gates and long corner runs change the final figure.
Technical specifications
| Component | Specification | Purpose |
|---|---|---|

| Solar panel | 40–150 W mono | Keeps the battery charged |
| Battery | 12 V tubular or SMF, 40–100 Ah | Night operation and 1–2 days backup |
| Output voltage | 8.0 – 9.9 kV | Deterrent shock |
| Fence wire | High-carbon GI, 12 or 14 gauge | Rust-proof conductor |
| Insulators | Virgin nylon or porcelain | Stops leakage to poles |
| Lines | 4 to 8 strands, 6–7 ft total height | Covers boar at the bottom and deer at the top |
Solar fencing questions
Is solar fencing safe for animals and people?
Yes. The energiser sends short pulses, about one per second, rather than continuous current. The shock is sharp and memorable but does not cause lasting harm, which is why it is used worldwide for livestock and crop protection.
Does it work at night and on cloudy days?
Yes. The panel charges a battery during the day, and the battery runs the fence through the night. A 40–100 Ah battery gives one to two days of backup.
How much does solar fencing cost per acre?
Cost depends on perimeter length, number of wire lines and pole type. A 1-acre plot with 4–6 lines typically costs ₹55,000–90,000, and a 3-acre plot about ₹1.1–1.5 lakh. Try the fencing calculator on this page, or send us your boundary length for an exact quote.
What maintenance does it need?
Keep grass and creepers off the wires, clean the panel, and check the voltage with a fence tester weekly. We offer a yearly service visit.
