Water heating is up to a third of a home’s bill
An electric geyser running every morning quietly adds hundreds of units a year. A 200-litre solar heater saves about 1,500 units annually and usually pays for itself in two to three years.
- Thermosiphon design: no pump, no electricity
- PUF-insulated tank keeps water hot overnight
- Electric backup element for long cloudy spells
- Glass-lined or SS 316 tanks for hard water
ETC
Vacuum glass tubes trap heat like a flask. Best for most homes and winter mornings.
FPC
Metal flat plates with copper risers. Rugged, handles pressure pumps, needs soft water.

ETC: evacuated tube collectors
Triple-layer glass tubes with a vacuum trap heat like a flask, so water heats well even on winter mornings and hazy days.
- Hot water at 50–60°C next morning
- Lightweight and affordable
- Individual tubes are easy to replace
- Best value for families
FPC: flat plate collectors
Rugged metal collectors with copper risers handle pressure pumps and heavy daily use. They need soft water or a heat exchanger.
- Works with pressure booster pumps
- No glass tubes to break
- Long life, 20+ years
- Ideal for hotels and hospitals
Built for Telangana’s hard water
Hard borewell water causes scaling that kills ordinary heaters. We test hardness and choose the tank lining and system type to match.
- Glass-lined or SS 316 tanks
- Heat-exchanger (indirect) systems for very hard water
- Sacrificial magnesium anode
- Yearly descaling service
Large systems for institutions
Hostels, hotels, hospitals and temples use thousands of litres a day. Multiple collectors feed a central tank with circulation pumps and controls.
- Modular collector banks
- Insulated piping to every floor
- Electric or heat-pump backup
- Big cut in LPG or electricity bills

We size at about 40 litres of hot water per person per day, the usual figure for bathing in Telangana homes.
Pays for itself in about –, then gives free hot water for 15+ years.

Solar water heater questions
ETC or FPC: which solar water heater is better?
ETC (glass tube) heaters are cheaper and heat well in winter and cloudy weather; they suit most homes. FPC (flat plate) heaters are more rugged and handle pressure pumps, but need soft water or a heat exchanger. We test your water hardness before recommending.
Will I get hot water in the morning?
Yes. Water heated during the day stays hot overnight in the insulated tank, usually 50–60°C by the next morning in Telangana.
What size do I need?
Plan about 40 litres a day per person for bathing. A family of four usually needs 150–200 litres per day (LPD).
What about hard water?
Hard water causes scaling. We use glass-lined or SS 316 tanks and can add a heat-exchanger for very hard borewell water.
