About these calculators

How accurate are these calculators?

They use Telangana averages: about 4.2 units per kW per day, typical 2026 installed prices and current subsidy rules. Expect your final quote within roughly 10% for standard roofs; the site survey gives the exact figure.

Why does the calculator suggest a size bigger than 3 kW?

It sizes the system to cover your full bill. Homes are capped at 10 kW in the calculator. You can always choose 3 kW to get the full subsidy and cover most of the bill.
